Audio Engineering - BA/BSc (Hons) Audio Production - Degree

Educating audio engineers and music producers for over 30 years, SAE Institute is where a career in Audio Production begins. From music production to application of sound in media, the audio production degree prepares you to enter the audio industry 'out of the box ready' to take on work.

The hands-on, practical ethos offers individual studio time supported by one to one tutors. This enables you to bring the theory, concepts and tools together with your creativity in a variety of fields; from studio recording on large format consoles to sound design and editing, using a variety of platforms including ProTools and Apple Logic.

Film Making - BA/BSc (Hons) Digital Film Making - Degree

The age old human urge to tell stories is nurtured and guided within a hands-on practical setting to allow your stories to become visual realities.
This is the filmmaking degree with a difference - You Will Make Films!

Our practical ethos means you will produce films as part of your learning, taking you through the pre-production, production and post production processes. Supported by one to one tutors and with access to industry standard digital cameras and film production equipment, the degree prepares you to enter the creative media industries with a high technical and creative ability.

Electronic Music Production Certificate

Music enthusiasts, unleash your passion and go from music consumer to music producer. Use the latest production technology such as Apple Logic Pro and Ableton Live to give you the skills to take your productions out of the bedroom or studio and into the clubs.

The course focuses your learning on the practical use of computer sequencing, MIDI programming, samplers and synths as well as hard disc recording within the creative context of music production.

With hands-on learning supported by one to one mentors, this part-time course allows a complete novice to quickly start making music and evolve their skills over 6 months.

The 6 months training includes Apple Logic and Ableton Live giving you the skills to take your productions out of the bedroom or studio into the clubs.
