Accommodation
- As of the time of writing SAE does not directly offer accommodation at any of its locations in the UK. However each campus can provide information on available accommodation
- Especially in typical student cities such as Oxford or London, it is usually not a problem to find student-type accommodation
- Each SAE provides a list of accommodation opportunities, i.e. links to student housing companies, websites and estate agents (real estate brokers), see Appendix 2
- Quite often rent is quoted ‘per week’. Students need to bear in mind that every month is 4.333 weeks in duration. This means that they need to multiple the cost per week by 4.333 to get the exact price of the monthly rent due
- Rent may also be quoted per calendar month (pcm)
- Please note that a deposit is usually paid alongside the initial month’s rent and it is usually the equivalent to one month’s rent. It can be totally or partially refunded at the end of the contract, since the landlord may keep back some of it for repairs/cleaning to be done to the flat/house
- SAE offers an email-list service for enrolled students for setting up flatshares. Information how to access this is provided to students who have finished the enrolment process
